Thanks for your interesting comments. I ...Hi Anne,

Thanks for your interesting comments. I was prompted by Christina McIntosh at the Iconoclast to update the account of the attack on the family home on Monday as I had only used the account by the slightly out of date Jihad Watch article - I altered the third last paragraph to note the new information, and gave you a hat-tip for noting she was a martial arts expert. I had wondered how she dealt with him so effectively but I don’t see a stabbing to the face as “minor” as some accounts described it. Still it was a Homer-J (in this instance J for jihadi) “d’oh” moment when Mr. X was forced to flee! :)

Good point about Israel not being gullible, and the authorities there would possess far more information that I, but I still can’t quite get my head around allowing Hamas’ personnel (unarmed or not) very close to the border fence when they were lobbing in a huge number of rockets just a few days earlier. Indeed Israel can retaliate but I see that option as an unpalatable one which more often than not damages their reputation due to the input of propagandists and a Pallywood-ised international ”meja”.Rob Harrishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11161685434804636265noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4528246176614662587.post-27690575201401348932012-11-29T13:04:17.685+00:002012-11-29T13:04:17.685+00:00By the way, I don't think Israel is that gulli...By the way, I don't think Israel is that gullible as to agree to dangerous concessions without knowing exactly what it's getting into. Of course, Israel could have refused to agree to the ceasefire at all, but it was presumably politically convenient at that point, much as I hate it.

Israel still reserves for itself the right to retaliate and defend itself, ceasefire or not.anneinpthttp://anneinpt.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4528246176614662587.post-77454198997309610902012-11-29T13:01:44.526+00:002012-11-29T13:01:44.526+00:00Good coverage Rob, and thank you for mentioning th...Good coverage Rob, and thank you for mentioning the attack on the girl (actually she's a woman, the mother of 4 children) who was attacked in her home by the terrorist. Apparently he crossed into Israel through the part of the fence that was damaged by those "Peaceful demonstrations" you mentioned.

The terrorist's only problem was that the woman he attacked is a Krav Maga specialist.
